QUEEN OF EVERYTHING YOU SEE was a collaborative documentary film project spearheaded by esteemed documentary photographer Alex Harris. Over the course of a year and a half, Alex and I worked together with 14-year-old Holly James to tell a story of her life after enduring four brain surgeries and chemotherapy. We equipped her with a camera and guided her in documenting her return to normal life. What emerged wasn’t a story about recovering from brain cancer but a celebration of life and the beauty in every day.
