Reveil was a 24+1 hr broadcast tracking the sunrise around the earth on International Dawn Chorus Day 2021. It travelled on live audio feeds from streamers around the world at daybreak.
For the eighth annual Reveil, I broadcast live from the Bird Sanctuary at Lake Merritt in Oakland, California from Dawn Chorus starting at 5:34am to roughly 6:20am. You can hear the entire broadcast below. The recording was made with a pair of Lom Usi Pro microphones in X/Y configuration mixed with Sound Professionals SP-TFB-2 in-ear binaural mics.
